Just wanted to say sorry for not being on since November.

I've had a hellish couple of months with problems at work, at home (one of my cats died) and now I've had an accident on my motorbike. I'm off work recovering at the moment, I wasn't too badly hurt but can't walk that well at the moment. Before you ask I hurt my arm, have road rash on my hip and have groin / leg injury. The hospital thought I had a broken pelvis at one point but I was lucky this time.

You can expect some more posts from me soon.

I think it's safe to say that it's cool with all that you have been gone for a while. It's also cool that you have returned.

P.S. I would be honored to give my late condolences towards the cat.

why don't we do a thread just for your recently departed loved one as its just as hard to losse a part as it is a family member most the time xxxxx

My Cat’s name was Oscar (Oz to his friends) I still have his sister Zoe with me and she seems to be doing well now.
If you want to see a picky of Oz (and Zoe) there are a couple of them on my facebook profile. (If anyone wants to add me as a friend on face book PM me and I’ll let you know the email addy / name to look for. Old blast members will remember my profile picky.)

As for the accident some Muppet pulled out of a side road in front of me and stopped in my lane blocking it while I was on my way to work. I’d seem him approaching the junction but he obviously didn’t see me.
I hit the brakes but the back wheel locked up and the back end of the bike came round. The next thing I remember is sliding down the road on my side. When I stopped I looked up to see a car coming towards me and when I turned round and looked over my shoulder I saw the bike slide to a halt behind me. I tried to stand to get out of the way and couldn’t so just scooted over to the side of the road because I was worried about being hit by passing traffic. The bike is battered but I'll be able to fix it as long as they dont write it off. My bike gear (lid, jacket, trousers, gloves & boots) is all trashed so I'm claiming for all of that as well.
